Barrweld™ Wine that is light weight and comfortable. The
fabric is tightly woven and engineered to shed weld splatter
and resist pin holes.
• Barrweld™ is an intimate blend of 60% Lenzing FR®
, and
40% Twaron®
(European version of Kevlar®
) and is inherent
fl ame resistant (IFR). The protective properties of IFR fabrics
are inherent to the fi ber, won't burn, melt, or drip, and cannot
be laundered out over the life of the garment.
IFR Cape for Welding Protection
Will Not Burn, Melt, or Drip.
• The natural Twaron® knit wrists with thumb hole provide A2
cut protection and lock the sleeves in place when donning
a glove, so it does not ride up the arm and expose the
vulnerable wrist.
• The horizontal snaps conveniently attach to any Tri-Star
snap-on bib, which can be constructed with the same fabric
as the cape, or another fabric specifi c to the task and threat,
such as cuts & punctures, splatter from violent welding,
grinding sparks, to name a few.
