Founded in 1913 by civil engineer Walter Augustus Wood, Walter A. Wood Supply Co. began as a modest feed and seed store serving the horse cavalry stationed at Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. Rooted in integrity and service, the company was acquired from Mr. Wood’s heirs in 1938 and evolved into a full-line industrial supply distribution company.
