KEY FEATURES

Highly effective acidic liquid for degreasing prior to the pickling and passivation processes of stainless steel. Eliminates all types of organic waste from surfaces.

WS 3616 G is an acid liquid for highly effective cleaning. Applicable on surfaces of austenitic and ferritic stainless steels, nickel and its alloys, aluminum and its alloys, as well as under certain conditions titanium and alloys.

  • Eliminates rust, rust, oils, greases, lime and water.
  • Particularly removes debris from penetrants and developers resulting from non-destructive crack detection tests.
  • Contains phosphoric acid, additives and inhibitors.
  • Does not contain hydrofluoric acid, nor nitric acid therefore does not attack the treated surfaces.

APPLICATION

  • Austenitic and ferritic stainless steels.
  • Stabilized and non-stabilized stainless steels.
  • Aluminum and its alloys.
  • Nickel and its alloys.
  • Titanium and its alloys (Consult).

HOW TO USE

  • Supplied in liquid and applied undiluted.
  • Can be applied with roller, rag, spray and immersion.
  • The surface temperature should be between + 5ºC and + 30ºC.
  • Let the product act between 15-45 minutes, then the surface should be washed with water preferably at high pressure.
  • During the application, the instructions for the use and use of safety glasses, gloves and appropriate safety clothing must be followed.
  • The water resulting from the rinsing will be acidic and must be treated within the limits required by the local authorities.
  • The storage time is unlimited.
